Lately I've been getting calls from 001 407 7654321 when I answer it takes them a second to "pick up" and then a woman says hello. It doesn't matter what I say, they usually end up hanging up right after. They call 3-4 times a day, usually around the same time, starting around 11am. I tell them that they have the wrong number, that we're not interested, to never call again, to take our number off the list, and that they have the wrong number, but it just doesn't seem to matter, they keep calling. I tried to do a reverse search on Google, and Yahoo, and nothing. All I could find was other peoples complaints on these calls, but with different numbers. I was going to file a compalaint on the National Do Not Call list, since I'm registered, but there isn't enough space to put their number, since it's international. I don't know what to do, and I want this to stop. The only thing that I've just now tried to alleviate the agony, was to add them to my phone, and then set their ringer to silent. Does anyone have any kind of information as to who these people are, and what there is we can do to stop this?

It sounds like a telemarketing firm using a predictive dialer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predictive_dialer).

It had said Florida when I googled it, but the 001 is an international code if I'm not mistaken. I thought that they could be telemarketers, but I'm registered on the do not call registry and tried to file that complaint. I figured though that if they were telemarketers that they would try to sell me something, more than hello.

Yeah thanks, sounds about right, like everything I've experienced. Hopefully we'll get this all sorted out and stopped, or at least figure out who they are. I got so frusstrated with them one time Itold them that if they ever called me again, I would kill them. Guess even death dosen't intimidate them
