"Amazing Grace" or "I Dreamed a Dream" if you have a good range and are on key.

If it's an audition for Annie, why not sing Tomorrow?

Songs from Newsies or Sound of Music would be great.

I know that a lot of directors don't want to hear the songs from the play they are auditioning, but you can always prepare a song from Annie just in case.

Funnily enough, Happy Birthday is a great audition song! I've been to many auditions where people sing it.

Hi, chanel222!

Yes, Happy Birthday does work! It can show off how well you can sustain notes and jump between a number of pitches. Plus, if there's a capable enough accompanist at the audition, he or she should be able to play it in any key.

What do you already know how to sing, please?

Thanks!
