Using D-Link wireless router as gateway. My DSL modem connects to the wireless router
I can get only dial tone and receive and make calls from my HP All-In-One Fax/Phone system when turned on. It is connected via a phone jack spliter that my DSL modem is attached to.

You have to have a dedicated phone line to use your home phone.

Thanks tick

Since I live in Thailand (fully retired now) dealing with my phone company since 1996 is a real treat. Since I can use all my phones through out the house when I am off the internet
And have a live phone when I turn on my HP Officejet system I'll leave it like that. (NOTE: 99% of our calls come on our cell phones anyway) I just want to thank you for your response.

Best regards
