ECHO CARDIOGRAMM REPORT (DT.18-01-2010)
1.moderate organaised pericardial efusion at apex and posterior wall.
MDCT SCAN CHEST(PLAIN & CONTRAST) REPORT(DT.. 20-12-2009)
1.Anterior and Mediastinal Lymphnodal enlargement.
2.pericordial thickening and effusion.
3.Splenic lesions; Pulmonary nodules-suggetive of lymphomas
4.Differential Diagnosis:KOCH'S
ULTRASOUND (abdomen) report(DT.23-01-2010)
1.prominent liver with mild coarsening of hepatic parenchymal echotexture.
2.mild right pleural effusion
3.Minimal left pleurel effusion.
4,moderate pericordial efffusion.
5.Bulky heterogeneous pancreas showing
A few small hypoechoic areas within it. Whether a few of these are peripancreatic nodes closely related to pancreas is not clearly decipherable in this present study.
6. Diagnostic possibilities include- Tuberculosis Vs Lymphoma,
I am suffering with lot of itching in whole body and fever at the time of sleep and cough.
What I do now? Kindly suggest.

Since my father passed away from NHL, I know about that disease. Here is some info on TB: Viewer Comments and Reviews: Tuberculosis - How Was Diagnosis Established - Patients Share Their Knowledge on eMedicineHealth (http://www.emedicinehealth.com/tuberculosis/discussion_em-96.htm)

Well, you might want to see a thoracic surgeon and/or see a repiratory doctor for his ideas which might include removal of fluid from the lungs (thoreocenthecis) and analysis.

If the lung fluid continues to increase, you won't be able to breathe

Gut feeling: it's either surgery to sample the tissue or go get some lung fluid to analyze.

Who is treating you? Is it your General Physician, or a specialist of some kind? A biopsy is the only way to truly confirm or deny the presence of a lymphoma. I would ask the doctor if you can safely take something like benadryl at night to help with the itching. And ask if the doctor is consulting with an oncologist (cancer specialist). Treatment would be different for NHL vs. TB
