Yes, that is a very large dragonfly on my face in this first picture. A male Canada Darner to be precise (if I crossed my eyes, I could almost make out the distinguishing yellow thoracic spot).

Just some advice. For future posters. You can use ANY image editor program to reduce the size of a pic. A picture you plan on posting online should be about 2" square and no more than 150 dpi. Lookup RESIZE in your image editor's HELP screens to see how.

I have been here for almost 4 months. I am going to try and stay here until April 08 so I can buy a house:) Not so sure I will make it that long though, its pretty boring here! I just started some college courses online.. so hopefully that will occupy my brain and time more productively.

I appreciate the admiration, but I really feel for the active military here right now... they have been through a lot more than I have and they are still strong through it all. A lot are going home now, but for most this wasn't their first and it won't be their last.

I actually kind of feel like a trader for not staying in the Army. I really loved it.. all the friends I had, the accomplishments I would have never achieved elsewhere... but I decided I wanted a more stable and secure future... so I gave up the Army, and ended up over here anyway... lol, Go figure
I have it a lot easier than the military troops here... I just do my work and go home, a lot of them are tasked out for different things all day and night. They just have so much more stress on them not to mention most have families back home. I am single and childless so that's even more I don't stress out about...

In all I thank you for your support, I am sure your admiration goes for the soldiers just as much. I really love and support our military, I wish everyone else could just do the same.

Its not about supporting war... I don't agree with everything this war seems to be about, but I am still here, on part for the money but mostly so that I could be a part of it, so I could see it with my own eyes and have a better feeling of what's going on. So far I stand by my decision to support the war and its efforts. These people need help from all angles. Their countries are controlled by hoolagins and drug lords that want free reign over the world. America is not perfect by any means, but we stand up on our 2 feet and defend our country and other countries to the death...

Ok I don't know where that patriotic speil came from... haha Just another lonely morning at work... and the Chargers lost to the Patriots... they might carry the name, but it doesn't mean I have to like them... My heart aches for the Chargers...

All right, against my better judgment I'm going to post some photos. This is surely going to scare wap away and make the rest of you laugh because you didn't think someone could be the pale.

The first photo is of me in the lobby of the hotel I manage in the summer.

The second photo is of a member of our maintence staff. Long story short he's a drunk and very difficult to deal with when he's drunk so one night he passed out and I drew a smily face on top of his bleach blonde head. This is me posing by my artwork. Funny story about that, we have an employee of the month sign that we put photos up down by the offices and I put this photo up. Oh man that was funny. While I thought so. He didn't talk to me for a couple of weeks.

The third picture is of my pale square face. No just kidding I'm the pale round faced guy. It was raining on day and a woman I work with was wearing a garbage bag over her head. But I cut her out to protect the guilty.

kms Oh they are so beautiful!! I love Aussies so much... well I love dogs period, but Aussies have the cutest expressions. Our male is so adorable, and he knows it! Well as for Cali- yeah its not very common for freezing pipes... This is probably the only other place I have been where the weather is like SD, very short winter here, its basically 1-2 months... I miss more than the weather though, I just miss being in the states and around my family... Its all good though.

While since we are leaving self photos behind and moving to other ones, here's a few of downtown Lakeland, Florida at about 2 am. The lake in the center of downtown is called lake Morton and supposedly the last gator was taken out of there a few years ago when he left the lake and was wondering around downtown Lakeland. Despite the fact that it's supposed to be gator free when you alone in the dark and that close to water you tend to get the jitters. But I really like the lights off the lake and it was so peaceful.

Here's one of me in a belly flop contest when I was counseling at a youth camp lol (I didn't win... it turned out to be more like a chest flop)... oh and don't ask about all that stuff tied to me... my team had spirit ;) lol

I wish I had a digital cam so the pictures were natural lol, I bought my mom one but she sold it.

This was taken a year ago during a 2 week break from writing my dissertation. As you can see, researching and writing for three months is not so conducive to proper grooming habits. That is the longest my hair has ever or will ever be. I am also aware that I look young, such is my bane. Yes, I know, it will be nice when I'm older, but it isn't doing much for me now.

This is a pic of me on my Honda Rebel motorcycle but cropped for just the head. I am generally fairly complient. I wondered if after choosing the name jrebel7, it might imply I am a bit of a rebel... not really. Different, yes, rebel, not so much! LOL

The other photo is a photo of my five grands! They sure light up my life! Ages, 3,6,1,4,3, respectively. :p

Yup, as old as Mickey Mouse.. He's a retired Hoemeopathic Doctor who made his medical degree the year Jaime was born, after making wine all his life until then. He's a grand-dad of two kids himself, his daughter looked like Claudia Schifter (the model) until she had her kids. He now lives with them. I got him started in computerese when I got my first one over 20 some years ago.

The picture is a screenshot of the only success after 8 hours of trying to set his up - he still needs to work on it though cause his pic is now blue... but it worked once, and we will not stop until he's mastered that. He's always been like a father to me, and he wishes he could help me with my cancer, but it is too late for that... his wife also died of cancer because she did not get checked up earlier- such is life..

My picture is dard because I am sensitive to light due to meds, besides, it save on electricity.. Not bad for an 80 year old man, huh?

Thought I would post a more updated photo since the only one I had posted was the one of me on my Honda Rebel motorcycle. These are three of my five grandchildren. What treasures they are to me. I am "Nonnie" to all five of them. I was Grandma-ma to the granddoggies which is all I had for awhile. When the kids finally got started, they did a great job. :p Current ages of five Grands - 7,4,3,3,1. This photograph was taken at my daughter's house.

I have really enjoyed viewing all the members photos. Seems to make the posts have so much more depth to them for me. Takes it a little more out of the "virtual" and a little more into the "real"!

We go to a pumpkin patch every year, and every year his pic is taken on my shoulders. Given that I'm the shortest male on either side of the fam, and that he is growing like his grandfather did, it'll only be a few more years before I'm the one on his shoulders.
