My nephew has been living with us for four years we have tompoary custody we would like to adopt where can we get the patition to file our self in Florida we have looked on all the court websites they do not have anything on relative adoption

You need both parents to sign written consents before you can do anything. The consents must be in the format approved by the Court.

If you want to adopt this child with no chance of ever having the adoption overturned, you need an Attorney.

There is no such paperwork for relative adoption. The courts don't look at it that way. You need paperwork for an adoption. Also I agree with judy and wouldn't do so without a lawyer on your side to seal the holes up. If not it could be overturned and then you would be forced to give up the child.
