My doctor prescribed me thyronorm as I am suffering from hypothyroidism . I came to know that it contains pig thyroid gland as I am muslim (syed) it is haram for us to use pork products.please give me adivce whether shall I continue with same tablet as it contain pork whether I am doing a sin? In islam the food coniaining pork product is haram the medicine which I am using is haram so I stop using it as I am doing a sin. I ask my doctor to prescribe me another medicine but he didn't as I have heart problem the reason for it is the improper functioning of thyroid gland, I am anemic too. The doctor prescribe me thyronorm 1 tablet daily for life time. Please give me advice what to do if I continue taking tablet I am doing sin. Let me know I will be thankful to you.
