I am attempting to resolve the furnace issue in my mobile home, here's what I have so far... The furnace is short cycling, I replaced the thermostat, blower capacitor, secondary limit, due to constant manual reset.. I am now getting noise from the blower, and the unit is extremely hot. The motor casing os hot to the touch, and supposedly the unit goes to 65 degrees before the unit refires? I have been here a while, and this stuff only happens when I am not there.. Imangine that! I intend on pulling the motor tomorrow and cleaning the wheel, I just need some advice on where to go from here. Thanks

even though there are no oil ports, oil where the bearing are real good, could be the motor is siezing/tightening up and not blowing fast enough to get the heat out of the furnace, and because this makes the moror hot, it is slow cooling enough to start back up when it should,, but you may need to think about replacing the motor,, if you have a clamp on amp=probe you could see how many amps the motor is pulling, and compare that number to what the motor should be pulling,if motor is pulling to many amps ,that's a good sign is going bad

Make sure all floor registers are open and the return air not blocked and the air filter clean.
