Does anyone know the name of the type of clasps found on old raincoats and golashes? The clasp was kind of "U" shaped and the part it fit into had a slot, or sometimes slots for adjustability.

The part about adjustable slots sounds like a buckle fastener.

Sorry for taking so long to reply Firmbeliever, but the picture you posted from overstock.com isn't the buckle, closure or clasp I was talking about... I cannot find a picture of one anywhere, I will have to do without, I suppose, since that particular item is what I really want. Thanks again!
