I am in a new relationship and have never taken it slow before. It seems very mutual at this point and I don't want to ruin it by taking things to a faster pace. It's only been a couple of weeks. We have kissed but only a single sweet kiss on two different occasions. Some hand holding and hugs. We have talked for hours and have been friends for a few years. Does this sound like it has potential.

I don's see why not-just stick to babysteps and make sure you're both on the same page.
Good luck.

Now that you're a couple, you work as a team. You decide together what pace you're both comfortable with.

Sounds like things are looking great, no need to create problems when there are none, unless you are omitting some other information?

Too many couples jump right in and then when the excitement of the chase is over the entire relationship is over.

I think taking it slow is definitely the best way to go. Be patient and let the relationship grow naturally.

Agreed, the more you take your time the more the relationship grows as you get to enjoy each other s company
