If they refuse to give me the amount that I owe and ask for bank statement in order to settle is that even legal? I tried calling them and they don't even tell me the amount that I owe. I am confused on how they expect me to make payment.

Tell them to stop calling you and only correspond by mail. Tell them unless you can prove that you owe them and what you owe them, you have nothing else to talk about.

Thanks Scott. I actually called them , they put a freeze on my bank account and now they are asking for bank records. I have never heard of that before. I been researching all day and haven't heard of anyone having that problem.

If they put a freeze on your bank account, they have already obtained a judgment. If you knew nothing about this judgment, then you have a cause to fight it.

You need to get a copy of the order served on your bank. You then go to the court that issued the judgment and file a motion to vacate on the grounds of improper service.

However, if you did know about the judgment, then you are stuck.
