My son (7) is doing a school project on assassin bugs and has been bugging (pun intended) me to help him find an answer to which specific regions(s) of Canada assassin bugs are native to.

I've tried a number of online resources with little success. Any information or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I read here (http://sci.agr.ca/parc-crapac/pubs/bene/betbugs_e.htm)that they are common across Canada.

I sure wish I had a pic to share: We recently found an Assassin Bug that is called "rather uncommon"; the Wheel Bug (http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2082.html)),in our backyard and kept it. It laid about a thousand eggs and died. We've kept them in a corner of the patio to watch them hatch next year :)

Found it! Hopefully your son will find it as cool as my sons did (my boys who found it are age 9)
