Does anybody have any advice about clearing up skin by organic ways, whether this be by something you eat or a topical treatment.

Thanks in advance :)

I have had problems with acne for the past few years - especially with pimples leaving dark spots. Approximately 2 months ago I purchased a wheat mill so that I could mill my own wheat to ensure I was actually getting all of the quality nutrients from wheat. Wheat products in bread, pasta, etc is usually stripped of its nutrients. I only use Kamut wheat (organic) which is the best wheat that's on the market. Every since I started baking my own bread & muffins with the kamut wheat, I have noticed a remarkable difference in my skin. Its clearing up and I have not had any breakouts. I order my wheat from breadbeckers.com.

If you want to use an organic topical treatment, get an alpha hydroxy acid cream. Alpha hydroxy acids , referred as fruit acid... can help acne and improve the overall look and feel of your skin.

Eating a well balanced healthy diet will surely help, in more ways than one. For spot treating blemishes, use a 100% Tea Tree oil. Treat at night, or even twice a day is fine for most people.

I recommend using jojoba oil when used as a cleanser. I also agree with the comment above about the tea tree oil. It is a nice addition to any skin care regime. Recently, I have experimented with the benefits of basil and have used this recipe in an astringent's place: Add a tablespoon of basil to boiling water and let boil for about 15 minutes. Dip a cotton pad or cotton ball into the mix and apply over your face and neck. It seems assist in drying up my blemishes leaving radiant, glowing skin. The mix lasts for about 2 weeks when refridgerated. Although I am just experimenting with it, I like the results I am seeing. Hope that helps!
