Okay here is my problem. I was arrested in 1998 in Georgia for obstruction of a officer without force. At arraignment I said not guilty. In 2004 I was arrested for contempt of court. I never received any court papers to go to court. 3 days later I was arrested for burglary by my b.f. but he dropped the charges on that a few days later. It is now 2010 and I still haven't went to court on the 1998 charge. How do I go about expunging all my records or can I? Will a expungement get rid of all my arrest records or just convictions? Because I've never been convicted of anything. Or do I need to try to seal my records? Please help!

Hello n:

If you haven't been convicted, you don't have a record, therefore, there's nothing to expunge.

In Georgia there is no record if you were never found guility or plead guilty.

You need to find out about the charges. There is nothing to explunge if there is no convictions
