I have followed the instructions from all previous posts and have replaced the igniter and the coils. Removed the hi-limit thermostat and flame sensor, cleaned, inspected and measured for continuity. All OK. Removed the cycling thermostat and fuse, cleaned, inspected and checked for continuity. All OK.

Dryer continues to switch on igniter, open gas valve, ignite for about 20-30 seconds and then shuts off. It appears that the igniter loses its glow (turns from bright orange and fades to dull red) before the flame goes out. Should it continue to glow bright orange to enable the gas to be ignited? It appears that the igniter is getting a signal to shut down. The wires go to the first coil so all elements in the primary igition chain have been replaced.

Thoughts?
