My name is Susan. I am 50 years old with Secondary Progressive MS. I am currently working part-time for $15.00 per hour for a caterer washing dishes. I can’t work any more hours because the pain in my legs.
In 1992 – 2006, my husband and I had a thriving Bakery on our farm. We even paid extra on our house mortgage. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end and my father-in-law and brother-in-law decided to sell against my husbands’ wishes. We had to sell the bakery too. We went to work for the new owners and they ruined the business.
As of January 7, 2010, my father-in-law has only two weeks to live due to stage 4 lung cancer. Thought he had lime disease and didn’t go to the doctors for a long time.
Ever since the farm was sold my husband began drinking. He is a bonafied Alcoholic. I think he has scerosis of the liver.
I don’t know what to do. I am 3 months behind on two mortgages. One $1,200.00 and one $515.00. I can’t pay the water bill, the electric, anything. I am angry for the farm heing sold because everyone made a nice living. But they thought it wasn’t enough. As it stands right now, my father-in-law is dying, my brother-in-law is also an alcoholic whose wife left him and then there is me. I have filled out so many job applications, it’s pittiful. I used have a good office job back in the early 90’s paying $32,000, but quit to start bakery. I NEED HELP. CAN YOU HELP ME?

How do you believe that we can assist?

What can we help with?

The economy is down everywhere, unemployment is out of control. If you list where you live we may be able to try and locate some agencies to better assist you. I am not sure how else we can be of assistance.
