I was given a 30 day notice to move reason being owners want the home for family. I am unable to pay both rent and deposit for a new home so I can't pay the rent. So I was given a 3 day to pay

You can be given both, you are given the 30 day to make you move in case you don't pay the rent on current location. If you don't pay the current location, then they issue a 3 day pay or quit, so as long as you pay the current location, you can stay the 30 days.
