I am building a carport(wood) it will be 10X30 and need to be attached to house which is brick. The question I have what would be the best way to support the house side ? The brick wall is exterior to garage and before I closed in garage several years ago I noticed that brick exterior wall was not against interior studs there were some straps in mortor attached to interior studs in a few locations but not a lot home was built in 1958.Can I use large toggle bolts? Will I need to add extra support for house side?or will brick wall be sufficient to hold load? It will be constructed with treated lumber 2X6 on 2ft. Centers with plywood and shinge roof.

That sounds like a brick fascade, not a structural element of the building. I'd have a structural engineer or architect give a look before attaching a car port. What does your local building department have to say, you will need a permit.
