Also what is possibiliy that he will get unsupervised visitaion with suspected child abuse and the fact tha he is mentally unstable I'm afraid of him and he mentaly abused me for over a year at this point I'm worried that he will be alone with my son and treat him like he did me or my oldest any advise plus I have to go threw applications to get a free lawyer any help any advise so would love it thanks/... worriedmomof2

Just tell the police he will be in court, tell the court officer that he has a warrant and they will check and arrest him.

Inform the judge that he has a current warrant.

Ask the court to refuse any visits as long as there are crimnal warrants out for him.
At this point he is "wanted" and the court would not require you allowed them to even be allowed visits till that is cleared up

Of course he can be arrested. If he got pulled over for a burned out tail light he could be arrested.

Can he be arerested ? Short answer yes. Are they going to do it as soon as they see him if he is going to another case ? Not likely. But when the hearing ends they can take him away. But they normally will let him have his hearing / trial before arrest.
