I'm trying to hook PC to TV via hdmi, both laptop & TV had hdmi ports. When I set TV to PC it says no PC connection. I changed my resolution on laptop, set monitor to monitor 2 extended desktop, still no signal. What else can I check for the issue?

What version of windows?

If using vista, tryright clicking on desktop and choose properties and on left sids, choose connect to external display

You need to select HDMI, Not PC.
