Last Feb. I had an edometrial abalation done due to a fibroid or fibroids. It seemed to work, but around Sept. I started having light periods twice a month with cramping. My Dr. has put me on Provera for the next three months taking it only on days 16 -25. I stopped my period and started immediately on day 26. It lasted for 6 days and 2 days later I have started again. Should I call my doctor or wait until my appointment in March? She told me if this did not work I would probably need a hysterectomy. I do not want this! I am not in pain, just a little cramping, but it is just annoying to have to deal with taking care of the monthly problem. Please give me some advice.

You can have a D & C more than one. It'd actually Dilation and Curratage. Curratage (sp?) essentially means scraping.
