OK, so this has been bothering me for years, and my friends are sick of hearing me question people about it. So, here it is:

It was a early 90's, maybe late 80's, kids show. It had a guy with facial hair and he played the acustic guitar. It was set in a forest, and the animals were puppets I think. For some reason, I'm associating this kids show with nick jr. but I'm not 100% on that.

Nope. I looked it up and that show was on around the time H.R. Puffinstuff. Thanks anyway!

I think you're talking about Fred Penner's Place. He crawled through the log at the beginning of the show and sang songs. I watched it when I was younger, too.
