Hi, my son was caught with 5 items he stoled from gym lockers in high school.. he will be fingerprinting first, than he to appear in court next week.. what will happen to him?

We going to get duty counsel there, but does this mean, he will likely be gong to jail, since he is only 16 and he first offense and he was being dumb by taking these items.. help

Of course he was being dumb, you are a parent and worried. If the school presses charges, as the contents were under their liability at the time, it may mean community duty, but it is up to the judge to decide depending on his deamnor and repentance at the time. You must realize though, this will mean a record for him and I hope it isn't gang related.
