I had this song a few years ago and wrote out the music for it, but since then I've forgotten what album it was on. Can anyone help?

Well old Buddha was a man
And I’m sure that he meant well
But I pray for his disciples
Lest they wind up in hell
And I’m sure that old Muhammad
Thought e knew the way
But it won’t be Hare Krishna
We stand before on the judgment day

No it won’t be old Buddha
That’s sitting on the throne
And it won’t be old Muhammad
That’s calling us home
And it won’t be Hare Krishna
That plays that trumpet tune
And we’re going to see the sun
Not reverend Moon

Well I don’t hate anybody
So please don’t take me wrong
But there really is a message
In this simple song
You see there’s only one way, Jesus
If eternal life is your goal
And meditation of the mind
It won’t save your soul

Well you can call yourself a Baptist
And not be born again
A Presbyterian or a Methodist
And still die in your sin
You can even be a charismatic
Shout and dance and jump a pew
But if you hate your brother
You won’t be one of the chosen few
And it won’t be a Baptist
That’s sitting on the throne
A Presbyterian or a Methodist
That’s calling us home
And it won’t be a charismatic
That plays that trumpet tune
So let’s all just live for Jesus
Because He’s coming back real soon

That song sounds like something either Chuck Girard or Keith Green did, but I am not right with that thought. Check out the following link:

It's "Oh Buddha" by the Imperials. I have it on an album called "The Very Best of the Imperials." I'm not sure what album it was originally on.

If you had read the link - it stated the song was by The Imperials.

Just an fyi: the link is an odd one in that the reader must read past a lot of yadda yadda before getting to the answer to the original question posted here.

The song came from the album "Heed the Call" by The Imperials (1979)
See The Imperials' discography: http://www.biggodrecords.com/orders-us-1.html
That was one of their most outstanding albums that I used to love and still do.
