My garbage disposal is leaking from electrical cover plate. Is it fixable ?

Can you rephrase?
What is it leaking?
Is water coming out of the plate, or following cord back?

Take a small pad of TP and wipe around the joint just over the electric box. Does it come away with moisture on it? Ler me know, Tom
