View Full Version : How to boil whole red potatoes
I am going to use sliced whole potatoes for a salad, I need to know how long to boil the at 7500'.

It doesn't matter for this type of cooking at a high elevation. Yes I know about water boiling at 7500 ft. but all you have to do is get them to a boil and keep checking for tenderness with a fork. They are a small potato, so won't take long.

Mmm, love mashies. Lots of butter and little milk and I whip the heck out of them ! Can't have turkey without mashies !

Clough, OP means 7500 ft. above sea level, where it effects heating water up.

My oven only goes to 500 degrees (electric), pissed me off a little while making my Roast, since I needed to preheat and then turn down, but turned out perfect:)
