There is this girl I really like and I really want to try and get something going before the winter break is up. We met in college and she lives somewhat near me but I would really have to go out of my way to see her. We have talked before both in person and in text msging but I want to ask her out. Now should I try and figure a time to maybe catch her at work or should I call to ask her out? Is texting even an option in something like this?

I wouldn't text.
Why don't you ring and ask her if she'd like to see a movie? There are lots of new movies coming out over Xmas.

1) Call her
2) Ask her on a date
3) See what she says

It's probably best to ask her in person, or over the phone. When you ask a girl out, here is what you say: "do you wanna go out?" Ask her straight up, most girls are not as complicated as guys think they are. Just be honest, and get to the point. It doesn't take a scientific formula to ask a girl out.

Ask her straight up if she wants to go out, and have a specific place, on a specific time, and ask her to join you. They usually always say when? And where?
