I have a Totaline Thermostat P474-0100. Last year we started getting an "OF" reading underneath the "Heat" setting instead of being able to see the temperature.

This "OF" code makes the heat stay on all night and it only gets hotter and hotter, so we have been without heat on the second floor since last year. It's probably just a programming issue, like someone pressed the wrong two buttons together or something like that. How do I get it back to read the temperature? The company who put it in wants to charge $89.95 to do a diagnostic check (and it will probably take them two seconds to fix it). We really can't afford it, and we would appreciate any help we could get. We've read the manual, and there's nothing about an "OF" error or programming code. THANK YOU! - please e-mail us at [email protected] - Happy Holidays

Here is a copy of your factory owners manual for your thermostat. This way you can look up your questions yourself. Just keep a copy on your computer.
