I`m not aware of reversing a gas valve,, you have to buy a kit and know how to install it n gas valve

RobertShaw gas valves are shipped from the factory for use with natural gas. To operate them on LP/Propane gas you usually have to flip the adapter on the top of the valve.

NOTE: This is not something I recommend unless you have specific knowledge of how to do a complete conversion on the valve along with the rest of the job as in adjusting the pressure regulator for the proper inches of water column etc.

The instructions that come with the valve spell it all out and if you do not understand I suggest getting a local professional HVAC person the do the job.

PROPANE can be VERY NASTY to work with and it can and will go BOOM if improperly adjusted or if there is a leak.
