We have a combination heater/ac in our mobile home. It is now blowing out warm air that smells like melted plastic. What could this be?

It could be the blower motor overheating or a piece of plastic (like a small piece of plastic bag) Might have passed into the unit somehow and the heat exchanger or electric heater is burning it up. It is a good question but we can not really tell anything from here.
