I need to install a lit exit sign in a 759 sq ft. office. The door that I am putting this unit above is located far from the other already installed exit sign and would require going through a block wall at an added expense to the customer. Will the code allow me to connect the sign to an existing circuit that is nearby and is used for a furnace. Or this is a wall outlet that I could also use. Thanks!

Why does the title of your post have nothing to do with your post? Exit signs need to be on a dedicated circuit.

There has been a fair amount of that kind of behavior lately. Don't know

Can you provide a few more details?
Dwelling? What room?
