I don't know if it's just me, but has anyone else heard singing late at night? And I'm not talking about drunks from the pub singing, I'm talking as if it was a choir going up and down the road outside my house, singing contstantly, first it was faint, then it grew louder, then about 5 min later it faded away. At first I thought it was the wind, but I've never heard the wind do something like that again. But it has happened 2 more times over about 6 years. Anyone else heard something like that or know what it is? Natural or supernatural I just want an answer.

There are lots of noises that happen at night- especially out on the street. Sometimes, at night, I hear a faint humming like cars on a highway and it causes a strange feeling, like déjà vu, almost like this sound is linked to my childhood or my past somehow. The sound you've heard could be vehicals- near, or distant. It could be the wind, the creaking of trees. Also, it is Christmas time, have you considered that maybe it's people singing Christmas carols on your street? Do an investiagation. Next time you hear it, why not look out your window, or go outside and see where it's coming from?

It wasn't anything like car, but yeah it could be carolers, you know, 3.00am in July, sure, must be them. You don't thing I've already checked all this? And if you ever hear wailing in the night I dare you to look outside into the creepy forest and not dive under the covers.

It also depends on where you live. For one thing, I'm sure you're not from Mauritius, and therefore, I cannot say I heard a singing from where I live

And from the post of jaime, I agree that it might have been the Christmas choir singing the carols for Christmas.

Do you live near a church because it might be a choir from the church that have passed away x
