We have a 14-year old cat who lately has taken to lying on the edge of a table or bed and hanging his head down at almost a 90-degree angle.

Is this indicative of anything to be concerned with?

My cat does the same thing on the edge of the couch. We've had him for over a year and he just recently took up doing this... I think it is just comfortable for him.
