Hello. Would like to know how credit card debts in Australia are handled after a period? If the debt is not resolved, does it stay in files? Do they keep chasing you or does it get cancelled over a period?
Thanks to anyone who can help with this important matter!

Debts are NEVER cancelled. They may be charged off (which is a tax maneuver), they may be sold, many times. But the only way to cancel a debt is to pay it off, either in full or for some settled amount.
