I have an empire heater and need a new gass valve, r-1624 empire says they no longer make them they are obsolete. Are there any that are that will work in its place.

I`m sure,, take it with you and go to local HVAC supply house,, they might /probably won`t sell you one but they might tell you what you need for replacement
