I think my son is smoking crack cocaine in my apartment and I have COPD will the effects of secondhand crack smoke be the same as secondhand cigarette smoke on my condition.

Smoking crack cocaine is not exactly like smoking a cigarette, bylerdiana. The user usually smokes it from a pipe and inhales the vapour. There is actually no smoke. In any event, he should not be doing this on your premises and shows a complete disregard for you health and welfare.

I would be more concerned about the fact that he's doing cocaine then I would be about the side effects to you.

It's time to do something about this before it gets out of hand. This isn't a drug that you mess with. This isn't something you turn a blind eye to.

If they are merely using a cheap or homemade crack pipe there can be residue and this like any similar substance can have a negative effect.

Also it can even build up a residue on walls to the effect that if known you would have to have the substance profressionally removed to continue to have a permit for residence, and more.
This does not normally happen from minor use but again, it is the extreme possible.

Next of course if there was a drug raid, the courts could seize the property if you own it, if this is rental, you could be evicted for his use.
