2004 F350 6.0. Traveling 600 miles after purchasing the truck it overheated due to a lack of antifreeze. It did an automatic shutdown. Hours later after it cooled it turned over and ran for about 1 minute. I changed the oil and all filters but now it will not start. It turns over normally but acts as if its not getting any fuel. I've checked and fuel is at the filter and flowing through it with normal pressure. It still won't start!! It turns over normally but will not fire even with ether. What do I check next or must I open it and look further?

. Add the proper amount of coolant and SCA:

You may want to change all of the coolant. It's a good idea to change all fluids on a used vehicle, anyway, then you know where you stand.
. Run through the basic troubleshooting steps in the link below:

Be sure to check all under hood and under dash fuses--and for codes.

Amazing, replaced fluids, in the process changed all filters. The fuel filter by the water drain attached to the frame under the car looked to be original, i.e. came with the car new and had 140,000 miles of fuel ran through it. Changed that filter, runs fine.

Good job. Ford recommends replacing fuel filters every 15,000 miles.

Did you also change the transmission fluid and filter?
