Hello and calling all frequent mathematics posters, is there any easier way to create math symbols than all that slashing and memorization:confused:

It's a good practice! You only need to know how to use the backslash '\' and some simple codes like \frac for fractions, \sqrt for square root, \pm for plus-minus sign. Together with that, greek letters are put as spelled.

\sigma gives \sigma and \Sigma gives \Sigma

Is there any easier way to create math symbols than all that slashing and memorization?

Not that I know of.
