How does one remove an Arwa Class single handle kitchen faucet? I followed the advice of the folks at Gemini's while trying to service the cartridge. So, I decided to just replace the faucet. Now I can't figure out how to remove the flange from the underside of the countertop to disengage the faucet. Would someone please advise me?

ballengerb1,
Thanks for you reply. My faucet is not one of the current models. The corrosion on the nut was so thick that I could not see the angles of the hex until I cleaned it off - it looked round! Once I recognized the nut, I used a wrench to remove it. I now have a new - other brand faucet installed! I'll never buy an Arwa and I can't imagine why anyone would. The US distributor and the manufacturer were both unhelpful and even provided inaccurate information on product warranty, on maintenance of the cartridge, and on installation instructions.

Glad you got fixed up. The next time you need to replace a kitchen or lavatory purchase a basin wrench,(see image) to remove the mounting nuts. Much easier then a regular one. Good luck, tom
