how much do i sell my pc for...

What the market will bear.

To get an idea of the market, Ebay (www.ebay.com) can be used as an indicator for used PC equipment. At the time of this post, two machines with similar specifications but half the memory sold for $70-80.

I don't know much about computers but if I were to buy a used computer I would consider things like:
-If it's updated
-How old it is
-If there's any major scratches or marks on it
-What it looks like
-Who the manufactuerer is

I'm sure most people, like myself, aren't really smart when it comes to computer and wouldn't want to spen $700 on a used computer if I could get a brand spanking new one at the store.

..just a thought.

Ah well put it on:

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices (http://www.ebay.com)

Kijiji - Post & Search Free Local Classified Ads. (http://www.kijiji.com)

craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums (http://www.craigslist.com)

Sometimes it takes about a month for someone to answer to you soon enough you'll get someone asking for it.

Good luck!

How long have you had it on there?

Sometimes when I'm selling something and it's been a month I lower 10$, repost my ad and add better photos.

I would also like to add, that majority of people buy bran new computers. It is cheaper and get a lot more to the dollar. Things have changed a lot since 2004. Most people want to move up in computers not down.

I would say that would be the reason for the hard seller.

You may as well donate it, give it away.
