I asked this before, but I'm asking again:rolleyes:
I have a stubborn mushroom mass growing under an outdoor rug. It has grown through the rug and looks like someone threw up under my table. There is a hole in the concrete under the rug. How can I get this to die:eek: and how can I get it out of my rug:( without ruining the rug?

Yuk!!
I never saw it before. Never tried this solution for such a large mass before, just trees.
Fungicide - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fungicide)
Get some Bonide micronized sulfur spray or dust. Comes in dust form, can mix to spray.

Locally, I picked it up at a farm store, like Southern States.
It can be applied as a dust or spray.
Saving the carpet, that's more of a problem.

In terms of saving the carpet, the only thing I can think of is an Ozone generator or have a commercial outfit deal with it.

Fungi spores will be everywhere, so make sure the vacuum you use has a HEPA filter or maybe something like a shop vac and throw away the filter.
After you get it killed, you'll have to get rid of the moisture and patch the cement. If you don't care about color matching, you can use Rockite. This is an expansion cement. It drys grey. I use it to patch trees.
