Hi Rather new to this I'm afraid so please excuse me for being a little blonde.
I live in a rented house and the landlords dishwasher went wrong recently so he had it removed but not replaced.
Have managed to get a 2nd hand one but no instructions with it (DOH! )
Anyway this new one has 2 pipes at the back for hot and cold where the old one was cold feed only.
Is it possible to plumb this in a cold feed only and it still work or do I need both pipes?
Thanks for any help

As a rule dishwashers only use hot water. Do you have a discharge hose on the unit that you purchased? Cheers, Tom

Hi Yes there are three hoses on the DW one with a white screw connector, one with a red screw connector (like a washing machine ) and a soil pipe.
But will it work if the cold feed is the only one connected?
Thanks Em

Think about it Em, Do you wash your dishes in cold water? Hot vwater will loosen the grease while cold water solidifies it. Give me the make and model of this dishwasher before we go any farther. Regards, Tom

Never came across a dishwasher that had two feeds. One is a drain !
