All of credit cards went to collection and total is 6. Can't pay debt since in school and make too little part time job. Debt range from $78 to many in the thousands (3500). Total credit default debt = 13000.
Student loans good standing 40000. What to do? Afraid some collection agency can sue. Can collection agency sue me? Afraid if I pay the $78, other collection agencies find me and keep harassing.

3 debts disappear from credit report in 2008 and 3 more disappear in 2009. Still seems far far away. Want to pay debt when making more money after graduation. What to do for now so I don't get sued:(

Also don't assume they will go away, they can sue and get a judgement which can remain much longer. And the debts on statue of limitation run from date of last payment, so it can be along time if some are paid current.

I would say you need to go to work full time and maybe a part time job also to pay your debts off. Then go back to school or back to school part time.

If you don't pay your debts or discharge them in a bankruptcy then you will probably get sued. If you have no income or assets to attach then there isn't much they can do but sue you.
