Hi .I am L1 blanket visa holder.how long will it take to get ssn no?Should I apply for my wife also who is traveling with me.What is the procedure for my wife to work legally..

You can contact local Social Security office and apply for SSN. For your wife, she would need to submit I-765 to USCIS. After she gets an approval, then she can apply for SSN.
