I have one computer at home with internet access. I also have a laptop, but with no internet access. I noticed yesterday that my laptop can pick up a wireless network signal from my room. I'm not sure if I should use it or not, and I guess am wondering if using it will add extra charges to the bill for my house. Will it??

Are you using a wireless router? Or someone else signal?

To answer the question, no, you won't be charged any more for one or more computers using the internet. You pay for internet access but in general there's no limit to the number of computers that can use it for that monthly fee. I haven't heard of any internet service provider monitor which computers or how many computers are using that connection. If you use one, two or more computers you wouldn't pay any more.

Not sure the law on using an open network, whatever the law is, don't try to hack their computer, steal data or other destructive measures. Accessing the Internet may not be as bad?

I would check local laws, good luck.
