I am supposed to write in the correct Co efficients in the blanks and I have tried but am getting frustrated as it doesn't balance out . ( I am using bigger numbers that are supposed to be little numbers in the actual problem but can't type them that way.)
___Na2+___O2 (Then an R with a circle around it)___N2O
Thanks for any help!! I appreciate it so much :)

Let's write the equation again, you mistyped on copying I think:
Na + O_2 \rightarrow Na_2O
Now, to balance, you need to have 2 oxygen on the right, making 2Na_2O
Then, since you have 4 Na on the right, put 4 on the left; 4Na
Then it becomes:
4Na + O_2 \rightarrow 2Na_2O
Which is balanced. :)
Or did you mean something else? Sodium has a charge of 1+, not 2+.

You are so right!! I went back to see what I had copied down and it is supposed to be
Just N without an a!! I don't know how I did that! Maybe that's another reason I am having troubles! Okay now I get it!! Thanks

Wait, if it is N and not Na, then, the reaction is something else!
N_2 + 4O_2 \rightarrow2NO_2
If so, that will be the reaction if there is an excess of oxygen.
