After completing a online IQ exam I was very perplexed that the answers for these specific questions were not given. Would you please help me solve these problems and give the reasons you got the answers so that I may help educate myself and others, thank you.

Op - DE is in order, girlfriend is reversed. NM is reversed, so op should be in order.

I said "time" because there are 2 letters from "belt" in "blood" (B and L), then 1 letter from "blood" in "guard" (D), so the only word that has 0 of the letters from "guard" is "time". Not sure if this is correct.


9. Which of the following words is different from the others? "Enterprise: rent, peer, rite, pair"
Rent peer rite pair

Rent, peer and rite each have all of their letters within Enterprise. However, "pair" has an A where Enterprise does not, so I picked pair since I couldn't find all the letters within the original word.

10. Which number completes the following series: SCOTLAND 27186453, LOTS 7293, LOAN 8367, AND _____.
271 453 786 675

Answer is 786. Start with the A.
A in SCOTLAND is 4, it does not appear in LOTS but it would be 5, it LOAN, it is 6, so in AND it would be 7.
N in SCOTLAND is 5, it does not appear in LOTS but it would be 6, it LOAN, it is 7, so in AND it would be 8.
D in SCOTLAND is 3, it does not appear in LOTS but it would be 4, it LOAN, it would be 5, so in AND it would be 6.
