I have a Goodman Furnace 80+ installed by a HVAC Dealer. It's three years old. The problem I am having is when I set the thermostat back at night to 66 degrees and in the morning it sets up to 70 degrees the furnace runs for a short period (5 -10 minutes) then shuts down. Once the draft induced motor shuts down it immediately starts up again. This cycle continues until the furnace has satisfied the thermostat. I do not remember it doing this when first installed. Any explanation would be appreciated.

Check the status LED while this is occurring. Observe the pattern of flashes and compare to label inside access panel.

I have a Goodman GMT090-3A with the same scenario. I've reset the furnace and cleaned the flame sensor but it still does the same thing: Runs for 5minutes then shuts off and recycles. The LED error is four flashes. I called the local HVAC repair guy and he said to try running it with the filter removed and see if it changes anything. I did this and it ran until it hit the thermostat setting. He said this could be caused from using a pleated filter with these furnace units. The pleated filter will restrict too much airflow causing the furnace to over heat, tripping the flame sensor high limit and shutting the furnace down. I'm going to go buy some cheap blue filters.

You might want to try this and see if it changes your scenario.
