How can I improve low water pressure that is occurring between the pump and the faucets. My pressure at the pump (from the spicket at the base) is very strong, but my pressure at my faucets and at my washing machine is very low. And because my new washing machine is built to be more energy efficient this is becoming a much larger problem.
Any suggestions? (I should note that my water is running through copper piping)

Is the pressure equally low for both hot and cold?

Not at the washing machine, but by the time it gets to the rest of the house it is about equal (as far as I can tell). At the washing machine, which is pretty close to the pump and the water heater the hot water has much more pressure than the cold.

Twobournes...
Have you disconnected the cold water hose from the washing machine and checked the filter screen.. If not, shut off the water supply and disconnect the cold water hose. Check the washing machine valve for filter screen, remove using a needlenose pliers if needed and check both hose ends for cone shaped filter washers (see image). If you find sediment/build-up at the screen(s) then you have found the problem. Clean these with a used toothbrush or similar tool and reinsert properly.
Also wondering if you have removed and cleaned the AERATORS at the faucets with low pressure... see image.
Let me know if this helps...
