OK so I have a 95 honda civic and it won't start. When I try to start it up all I hear is a clicking sound... I did jump start it and started right up and I left it running for 15 minutes but as soon as I shut it off and tried starting it up again all I heard was the clicking sound can anyone help me out please.

. Replace the battery. Remember, jumping a modern-day car increases the risk of a voltage spike destroying the ECM, alternator, or sensors. We've had more than our share of cases at AMHD.

. Check the alternator (Step 8, below):

OK well the other thing I forgot to mention is that I did wash my engine bay so do you think I got something wet to cause it to not start

That another thing you never want to do. Washing down the engine can easily damage the alternator, ECM, and sensors. You're very lucky your engine started.

Frequently, moisture gets inside the distributor cap or the spark plug wires short out. Let everything completely dry before starting it again.

Wow that really sucks for me it just snowed over night and I might have t wait a couple of days what if I let it run for a hour would it make it dry faster

I would just open the hood and let it air dry, if possible. You got off easy.

OK so since it starts up after I jump it I should test the battery and alternator at my local auto part store and see if that's the problem.
